Product Safety

We take product safety seriously, and we want to be clear about what we sell and what we do not.

What we sell

Storage, organisation and everyday textile pieces for the nursery and for life out and about, everyday bags and accessories, and personalised keepsakes and jewellery. These are general consumer products covered by the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 in Great Britain.

What we deliberately do not sell

• Anything electrical, battery powered or rechargeable
• Car seats, cots, mattresses, sleep positioners or anything that makes a safe-sleep claim
• Dummies, dummy clips, teethers or toys intended for mouthing
• Feeding items, unless they come with a food-contact declaration of compliance from the manufacturer
• Skincare, medicines or anything applied to the skin

Using our products safely

• Our products are not toys. Keep cords, straps, jewellery, small parts and decorative pieces out of a baby's reach.
• Storage baskets and caddies are for nappies and supplies, not for a baby to sit or sleep in.
• Pram organisers: do not overload the handle, as this can affect your pram's balance. Check your pram manufacturer's weight guidance.
• Muslins are multi-purpose cloths for feeding, mopping up and shade. They are not sold as swaddles or bedding.
• Necklaces are not suitable for babies or young children to wear.
• Always supervise your baby when any product is in use.

Something wrong?

If you have any concern about the safety of a product you bought from us, stop using it and email hello@mamasfavouritefinds.com. We will investigate with the manufacturer and refund or replace as appropriate.
